01 Shipping Information.
- We offer free shipping across the EU on orders over €85.00.
- We also offer free shipping to the UK on orders over £67, and to the United States on orders over $70.
- We currently ship to the EU, UK and North America, including Canada and the United States.
- An Post is our preferred shipping partner. Depending on the destination, orders may also be delivered by Royal Mail, DPD, USPS, DHL, local postal services or another courier partner.
- For destinations outside of the EU, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout where applicable.
02 UK Duties & Taxes.
For UK orders over £130, import VAT, customs duties and courier handling fees may be payable on delivery. These charges are not collected by Pestle & Mortar at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer. You may be contacted by the delivery provider, such as An Post, Royal Mail, DPD or another courier, to pay any outstanding charges before your parcel can be delivered. Pestle & Mortar cannot control or refund customs charges, duties, VAT or courier handling fees.
03 International Duties & Taxes.
Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs inspection, customs fees, import VAT, duties, taxes or courier handling fees. These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. Pestle & Mortar is not responsible for paying or reimbursing customs fees, taxes, duties, brokerage charges or courier handling fees.
04 When Will My Order Be Delivered?
All Pestle & Mortar orders are delivered by a third-party courier service, so we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date or time. Once your order has been shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number so you can follow your parcel and stay up to date with the latest delivery information. Delivery times may vary depending on your location, courier service, customs processing, public holidays, weather conditions or other delays outside our control.
05 Order Changes & Cancellations.
If you need to amend or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at customercare@pestleandmortar.mom. We will always do our best to help, but once an order has been processed, packed or dispatched, we may not be able to make changes or cancel it. During peak periods, including sales, promotions and holiday periods, order changes and cancellations may not be possible due to high order volumes and faster processing times. Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to make any changes to the order or delivery details.
06 Refused or Uncollected Packages.
If a parcel is refused, not collected, or returned to us due to unpaid customs charges, incorrect address details or failed delivery attempts, any refund may be reduced by shipping costs, return costs, customs charges, duties, taxes or courier handling fees incurred.
07 Online Returns.
This section applies to products purchased through our official Pestle & Mortar website. If you are not completely satisfied with an item purchased from our website, you may return it within 30 days of purchase. We will only accept returned products that are unopened, unused and in their original boxes. To request an online return, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@pestleandmortar.mom for a return authorisation form.
Pestle & Mortar is not responsible for return postage, or for items that are lost or undelivered during return shipping. We recommend using a tracked postal service. It can take up to 10 working days for us to receive your return, depending on the postal service you use. Once we receive your return, we will inspect and process it promptly.
Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used to place the order. Please allow up to 30 days for your refund to be processed and appear in your account.
As soon as our team has processed your return, we will email you to let you know. If you do not receive this email within 10 days of posting your parcel to us, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@pestleandmortar.mom.

09 Returns from Pestle & Mortar Brand Stores.
- If you purchased your product from one of our Pestle & Mortar brand stores, your return must be made directly to the same store where the purchase was made.
- Products purchased in Kildare Village must be returned to our Kildare Village store.
- Products purchased in Dundrum must be returned to our Dundrum store.
- Store returns cannot be processed through our online returns address.
- Returned products must be unopened, unused, in their original boxes and accompanied by proof of purchase.
10 Returning Goods on Which Duty Has Been Paid.
If you have paid duty, VAT or customs charges on your order and you are returning it to us, you may be able to claim a refund of those charges from your local customs authority. For more information, please contact your local customs authority directly.
To help avoid further duty charges on the return parcel, please clearly mark your package: RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE.
11 Returns from Stockists.
If you purchased your Pestle & Mortar product from one of our stockists, retail partners, department stores, pharmacies or marketplaces, please contact the original place of purchase directly for their returns policy.
We can only process returns for items purchased directly from our official Pestle & Mortar website or Pestle & Mortar brand stores.
